Orator:

Professor Helena Teede - Professor Teede is the
Executive Director Monash Partners Academic Health Research Translation Centre, Director Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, Monash University. Her research interests focus on women's health, she has a strong interest in health promotion and health service innovations across different settings and populations. Professor Teede is strongly committed to leading and driving evidence into practice to ensure improved health outcomes. Her research has progressed from isolated efficacy studies to broader effectiveness, to leading NHMRC approved evidence based guidelines with active implementation and demonstrated improved clinical outcomes nationally. Professor Teede has also translated her work into government funded implementation programs in clinical practice and public health/prevention.
          
Panel Members:
Professor Philip DarbyshireProfessor Darbyshire is a Professor of Nursing at Monash University, Victoria and Flinders University, South Australia. He serves on the Grants Committee of state and national research funding bodies and on the editorial board of several leading nursing and research journals. He is internationally recognised as a leader in nursing and health care research and practice development.      

Dr Tracy Robinson
– Dr Robinson is a Senior Research Fellow in Implementation and Healthcare Improvement. She has extensive experience in health services research and completed a post - doctoral fellowship in implementation science at the University of Sydney (Faculty of Medicine). Tracy is a registered nurse with a PhD in Psychology. Dr Robinson’s key research interests include implementation science, health services research, emotional resilience programs and workforce development.


Dr Judy Lowthian - Dr Lowthian is Principal Research Fellow in the RDNS Institute and a Senior Research Fellow at Monash University’s School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Dr Lowthian holds an honorary appointment with Alfred Health. Her research is underpinned by a clinical background in speech pathology rehabilitation and health service management in Australia and the UK. Dr Lowthian specific interest is health services research designed to improve the quality and safety of care for older patients, and the coordination and integration of services during transition to and from hospital.
