Presenter Biography
Emma Woodhouse Masters of Education with a major in Educational Leadership, Grad Cert Perioperative Nursing (ENB), Diploma in Management, Cert IV TAE 40110.
Emma Woodhouse (MACN) is the Manager Higher Education at the Australian College of Nursing.
Emma’s experience spans over 25 years predominately in perioperative nursing practice in the UK, where she has worked as a team leader, clinical educator and in acting managerial roles. Her most recent clinical position was as a Clinical Nurse Educator with the perioperative environment. Emma has experience in designing and developing curriculum across many graduate certificates in higher education.
Emma is driven by the need for innovation and adaptive change management to ensure quality in healthcare through education. She is an advocate for a distributed approach to leadership, working with staff that are empowered by mutual trust, respect and autonomy.
