This practical, hands on session is designed for nurses looking to strengthen their clinical skills, update their knowledge, and apply evidence based principles to prevent complications and improve patient outcomes.

 

Key Learning outcomes:

•             Recognise common CVAD types and indications

•             Perform safe site assessment, dressing changes, and line access

•             Apply infection prevention strategies to reduce CLABSI risk

•             Troubleshoot common complications

 

Who should attend 

 
This course is suitable for Registered Nurses who are required to perform CVAD as part of their scope of practice.
