About the course

The experience of pregnancy and parenthood differs for each woman and is influenced by the stability of her relationships and social networks.  Psychosocial screening allows the practitioner to identify circumstances that affect a woman’s mental health and to implement support strategies to address the range of physical, psychological and social issues affecting the parent, infant and family.

This face-to-face workshop will equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to perform psychosocial screening to optimise health outcomes for children and their families.
