Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, IQRNs should be able to:

1. Demonstrate the knowledge and clinical skills required for safe, holistic nursing assessment and management to meet OSCE requirements

2. Apply effective communication and resilience skills for inter-professional collaboration.

3. Model culturally appropriate nursing practice


Course Structure and Fees

This course will be held face to face on campus at Parramatta.  The course will run from 9.00am - 4.30pm each week day during the course dates.

Add to Calendar 07/01/2024 9:00AM 07/12/2024 4:30PM Australia/Canberra Preparation for Objective Structured Clinical Examination The Preparation for Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) prepares Internationally Qualified Registered Nurses (IQRNs) to undertake the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) OSCE. The course allows IQRNs to build upon previously acquired knowledge and skills from their Bachelor of Nursing degree completed in their country of origin and to prepare them to "provide safe, appropriate and responsive quality nursing practice" (NMBA, 2016) to meet the assessment requirements of the OSCE.
