Catelyn Richards - Co-founder and President of Climate Action Nurses
Co-founder and President of Climate Action Nurses, Catelyn is a proud Registered Nurse, humanitarian and passionate advocate for regenerative ecology. Now completing a PhD in Planetary Health and nursing, Catelyn was a 2022 Westpac Future Leaders scholar and holds a Master of Leadership (Health and Human Services). She has undergone extensive leadership training through the Westpac Foundation, Australian College of Nursing Emerging Nurses Leader Program, University of Tasmania Masters Professional Practice Pathway and Monash University Ancora Imparo Program. She has presented on early-career nurse leadership and environmental responsibility across a range of platforms including the University of Brighton Sustainable Healthcare Academic Research conference, the University of Otago Planetary Health Conference, the Australian College of Nursing National Nursing Forum and the South Pacific Nurses Forum. Through her work volunteering with organisations such as the Oaktree Foundation, AusAid, the Australian College of Nursing and the Climate and Health Alliance; Catelyn fervently contributes to her life mission of spreading conscious kindness.
