About the event
Join the Children and Young People Faculty Leadership Team for their first webinar of 2026.
Caring for infants, children, and adolescents requires a specialised approach that recognises their unique clinical, developmental and psychosocial needs. This session explores what makes paediatric nursing distinct across healthcare settings, including age-specific assessment, family-centred care and trauma-informed communication strategies that support children and their families during vulnerable moments.
Designed for nurses at any stage of their career, this event will also highlight the skills, career pathways and professional development opportunities that build confidence and competence in paediatric practice. Whether you are curious about transitioning into this specialty or looking to strengthen your capability, this session offers insight into how nurses choose and thrive in caring for children.
