On Saturday 5 October 2024, the Australian College of Nursing (ACN) Foundation hosted its inaugural Diamond High Tea at the Rydges World Square in Sydney.
Capt Amanda Plant, a nursing officer from HQ 1 Bde, who received a scholarship this year, began her ADF career in 2004 as an Army geomatic technician and completed her nursing studies in 2013.
We are thrilled that The Plough Inn in South Brisbane recently made The ACN Foundation as their charity of choice for International Nurses Day! From the 6th to the 12th of May, the Plough Inn raised much-needed funds to support the Foundation's work.
ACN Foundation is proud to be part of an important partnership with Endometriosis Australia to train Endometriosis Specialty Nurses (Endo Nurses) to provide much-needed care in communities in rural, remote, and regional Australia.
Thanks to a generous gift of $75,000 donated by Rosemary’s brother Richard Harrison and family in her memory, the ACN Foundation has established the Rosemary Harrison Scholarship.
