 Presenter: Sonya Nicholl

Sonya was a registered nurse in ICU for many years in Northern Ireland and in Australia. She joined public health in 2003 as an Authorised Nurse Immuniser in the National Meningococcal C Vaccination Program. Sonya commenced her employment in the NSW Health Immunisation Unit in 2004 where she is currently employed as a senior policy analyst responsible for a range of initiatives such as providing clinical advice, health care worker vaccination, antenatal pertussis vaccination, cold chain management, immunisation policy review and development and nurse immuniser authorisation and education.  Sonya completed an MPH in 2009 and is currently finishing a professional doctorate in public health.
