About the course
This face-to-face course on presentation skills, abstract writing and poster design, is conducted over one day and is equivalent to 7 continuing professional development (CPD) hours.
Key learning outcomes
On completion, participants will be better able to:
• Utilise audio visual aids to enhance presentation skills
• Memorize strategies which enhance presentation skills
• Recognize the importance of structure and time management when presenting in public
• Demonstrate refined public speaking skills
• Relate new knowledge to the formulation of an abstract, poster and three minute presentation
• Collaborate to design and construct abstracts, posters and presentations
• Engage in peer appraisal and the provision of feedback
