About the speaker
Victoria Hunger - Nurse Educator, Newborn Care Unit, Gold Coast University Hospital.
Victoria Hunter is the Nurse Educator for the Newborn Care Unit at Gold Coast University Hospital, with more than 25 years of neonatal nursing experience across Australia, Canada, and China. She holds a Master of Advanced Nursing and leads education and professional development programs spanning Special Care Nursery, High Dependency, and Neonatal Intensive Care practice. Throughout her career, she has worked across a diverse range of neonatal settings and roles, including tertiary NICU care, newborn care in remote and underserved regions, university teaching, curriculum design, regional neonatal education program development, and the creation of statewide clinical guidelines and educational resources.
