Join the Institute of Leadership’s Director Jen Harland FACN for a dynamic workshop designed to help nurses strengthen their leadership capability by reflecting on their current practice, identifying opportunities for growth, and building confidence to lead with purpose.
Participants will:

• Increase self-awareness to better understand their leadership strengths and opportunities for growth.

The workshop also focuses on understanding and managing behaviour change, enhancing communication skills, and fostering greater influence in professional interactions. Through reflection, discussion and practical application, participants will leave with actionable insights to increase their leadership impact in the workplace.

Presenter Bio
Jennifer Harland RN MSc MA CDAN FACN
Jennifer Harland is an accomplished Registered Nurse with extensive experience leading people, teams and organisational change across the health sector. She holds a Master of Science (Addiction) and has recently completed the Science of Leadership Program at Harvard Medical School, where she explored the latest evidence on leadership effectiveness, team performance, psychological safety and organisational culture.
Jennifer has a particular interest in the science of human behaviour, motivation and leadership. Her engaging and practical approach helps leaders translate complex evidence from neuroscience and behavioural science into everyday leadership conversations that build trust, motivation, accountability and lasting change. She is passionate about equipping nurse leaders with the skills needed to influence effectively, foster resilience and create high-performing healthcare teams.
