This course equips aged care staff with practical skills and confidence to provide dementia care that is person-centred, respectful, and fully aligned with the strengthened aged care standards. You’ll deepen your understanding of the lived experience of people with dementia, learn how to apply standards in everyday practice and implement effective person-centred strategies. By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to create a safe, inclusive, and high-quality care environment where people living with dementia feel respected, supported, and valued.
