This module provides an overview of the My Health Record system and the key health information that it contains. It outlines benefits of use for healthcare providers as well as describing how consumers can use and manage their records. It also explains how healthcare providers can access My Health Record and the key steps involved in implementation. At the end of this module, you will be able to: • explain what My Health Record is and the key health information it holds • outline consumer and healthcare provider interaction with the system • describe how My Health Record may support better healthcare • identify how to gain access to the My Health Record system.
