This module outlines how to protect the confidentiality of people's health information during telehealth consultations. This module is not intended to be comprehensive and should not take the place of conducting other due diligence processes such as conducting risk assessments, obtaining legal advice and assessing the financial viability of vendors. At the end of this course, you will be able to: • Employ privacy practices and policies to protect confidential health information during telehealth consultations • Set-up a secure telehealth consultation • Recognise the importance of integrating cyber security with your work culture to protect health information • Identify where to obtain information about keeping safe online.
