Dependence on opioids (pharmaceuticals or illicit) such as heroin, oxycodone, and codeine is associated with various health and social harm that impacts the person using them, their families, friends and wider communities. ?In this module, you explore opioid use disorder, features of opioid withdrawals and pharmacotherapy treatment available to support people in reducing harm and recovery.
