Fundamentals of Cardiac Assessment

Completion of this module will enable learners to recognise the complex and dynamic nature of heart disease and its associated risk factors. Learners will develop a systematic approach to assessing cardiac patients through comprehensive history taking and physical examination. The module also explores evidence-based nursing and medical management strategies for common cardiac disorders, while encouraging learners to reflect on and enhance their critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
