Designed for Enrolled and Registered Nurses, this self-directed online program refreshes clinical knowledge and skills across nine key areas including infection control, physical assessment, recognising and escalating patient deterioration, managing common cardiac, respiratory and neurological conditions, wound care, mental health and professional practice. It supports nurses who meet the NMBA Recency of Practice Registration Standard, with at least three months of practice in the past five years, to confidently transition into clinical or acute care and maintain safe, contemporary nursing practice.

Refresher Program

The ACN Refresher Program is designed for Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) who hold general registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). This program is intended for nurses who meet the Recency of Practice Registration Standard by having completed a minimum of three (3) months of practice within the past five years and who wish to update and enhance their clinical nursing knowledge and skills.
