This course is designed to equip nurses with the essential clinical knowledge and skills required to safely and effectively care for patients who have undergone a total laryngectomy Throughout this course, you will learn best-practice approaches to airway management, humidification, suctioning, stoma and wound care, communication support, and emergency management. Emphasis is placed on understanding the anatomical and physiological changes after laryngectomy, recognising early signs of complications, and ensuring continuity of care across acute, rehabilitation, and community settings.
