This program involves the connection of an experienced member of the nursing profession with an early career nurse to share knowledge, build leadership and support career development. Sue shared her experience as a mentor; explaining the process of setting up a successful mentoring relationship and why it is so important to support our emerging nurse/midwifery leaders for the future of the profession. Sue’s presentation featured a recorded interview with her ENL mentee. In Part Two, attendees will gain an understanding of: • The workforce need for mentors • What a mentorship role is and what it entails, including the provision of a sample mentorship agreement • The common challenges that mentorship can raise • The perception of the mentorship relationship from both the mentee and the mentor You may also be interested in these CPD courses: • Moral Resilience: https://members.acn.edu.au/Public/cpd-centre/cpd-view?CPDID=144&iProductCode=CPD000095&Category=CPD • Resilience: https://members.acn.edu.au/Public/cpd-centre/cpd-view?CPDID=147&iProductCode=CPD000098&Category=CPD • Resilience Plan: https://members.acn.edu.au/Public/cpd-centre/cpd-view?CPDID=148&iProductCode=CPD000099&Category=CPD
