This Module is an introduction to give you a brief overview of modern slavery and the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth). It also highlights how modern slavery impacts the health sector both here in Australia and in our health supply chains across many countries. The learning outcomes of this course are: • Define modern slavery. • Articulate the risk of modern slavery in health supply chains and Australian healthcare settings. • Discuss the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth). • Understand how completing the CPD modules will help you make an impact on modern slavery.
