When we listen to local Indigenous communities, we make better policy decisions.

On Saturday, 14 October 2023, Australians will have their say in a referendum about whether to change the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing a body called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.

In a special edition of ACN’s National Nursing Roadshow, we are heading to Brisbane to host an informed conversation about the Voice to Parliament.

ACN CEO Adjunct Professor Kylie Ward FACN will be joined by our First Nations Faculty Chair, Professor Odette Best FACN and Chairperson of Lowitja Institute Selwyn Button to inform, educate and unite nurses across Australia.

Bring a friend and stay for a networking reception with canapes and beverages and connect with like-minded nurses.

Members and non-members are welcome to attend. Registrations are open – Sign up now for free

ACN proudly supported the implementation of the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
